“I wouldnt know what this insane year would´ve been like without skating so much. It felt like diving deep into my childhood in the 90s, going skating several times a week and having the greatest fun skating with my friends. Its something i´ve missed in my twenties. Now 31 years old and skating for over 23 years this part is something very personal for me, its the first street skating i´ve filmed in over 5 years. When we had our first Lockdown and all the parks were closed i choose to go streetskating by myself which became a very funny thing to do, soon after, Klaus and I got another Camera, some more P2 Cards and we just went for it.
There´s a certain barrier skating street that you´ll have to get over to get really comfortable in doing it. At some point this Summer i had that feeling back and it was just wonderful to not hesitate anymore. Its pure fun and joy, I hope this comes across. I want to dedicate this part to the Boys in Vienna who really made this an unforgetable time, you guys are my Glue!” - Gabriel Hyden
