Dave Lang's Decade

One of our all-time favorite bladers dropped a recap of his skating for the last 10 years on Instagram’s IGTV. We couldn’t share it since it’s locked to just the Instagram App which was a bummer since it was nearly 15 minutes of some of the most powerful shredding ever seen. Back and forth on a few comments with Dave, and boom, he’s now uploaded it to YouTube for all to see. Thank you for your years of absolutely ripping everything in your path to shreds. I was so stoked to see your signature skate at Shima’s place so many years back and only wished the world would’ve been able to skate them too. Give Dave a follow on IG @thedavelang. He’s an accomplished photographer, has been involved in some of the biggest Hollywood movies of the last few years, and still blesses us with his powerful skating from time to time. See ya at Pow Wow 2020! That Bowl to Freestyle gap is waiting for more natural and switch 900’s. - Travis

“Through the past 10 years, all that I have done can all be traced back directly back to rollerblading. Whether it be working on 3 major motion pictures, traveling the globe, having a huge life intervention or starting my career as a freelance creative; I ended up here because of blading. You can’t forget where you came from and I’m going into this next decade a better man because of it. The boots on my feet and it’s community of people shaped the person I am today. They helped teach me some of the greatest lessons I’ll ever learn. They taught me about truly finding passion and perseverance for something and allowed me to apply it to my every day life. I am so grateful for each of you and the family that I can always call home. Thank you rollerblading for being one of my greatest teachers. As a tribute to this wild time, I made an montage of some of my favorite moments from this past decade. Enjoy!” - Dave Lang
