First Roll Minnesota Skate Competition of the Year! For this episode, we assembled the Minnesota rollerblading community for a fun and friendly team-competition. With $200 of cash on the line (and bragging rights), teams were randomly selected to battle in a bracket style winner-take-all format.
With skaters like Mike Garlinghouse, Chemi Simiyu, Brett Hammond, Dave Walsh, and Chase Linzmeyer participating, we knew some of these teams would be stacked! Nevertheless, it was all about the fun and camaraderie of blading with friends.
The competition took place at Prior Skatepark in St. Paul, Minnesota (Merriam Skatepark), but we made things more interesting with the addition of some new obstacles (courtesy of Nelson).
