Platform #11 - Josh Glowicki

“Josh Glowicki first came to Europe with Fritz Peitzner back in 2011, hopping from country to country and picking up friends and fans at every stop. Fast forward almost a decade and he's now living permanently in the south of Spain with his wife. For the latest episode of Platform, Josh tells us about the runaway success story that is Blading Camp, climbing Machu Pichu with Richie Eisler and friends, turning down a pro skate from Razors, skating ditches with Bam Margera, the Cayenne Project and much more. As one of the most well-travelled bladers in the world, Josh has got a tonne of interesting stories from his adventures - here are just a few of them.” - David McNamara

Platform #10 - Blake Bird

“Originally meant to be episode four, hence the intro, this was moved back because we had some nice photos of Blake we wanted to use courtesy of Sam Cooper, so we decided to run with the print interview first. For all of you too lazy to read the several thousand words of text, here is the video version!

Blake is one of the most recognisable faces in the UK blading scene, working at the famous Bay 66 Skatepark, building ramps for competitions, judging FISE events and organising yearly gatherings Capital Jam and Capital Rollas LDN Street Jam. He's been skating since pretty much the inception of aggressive blading in the UK and he's still going strong decades later. He recently released a new street part at the tender age of 38, so we decided to find out what he's been up to recently, find out some stories from the booming '90s and see what's going on with FISE in the wake of coronavirus.” - David McNamara

Platform #8 - Karsten Boysen

“WARNING: Karsten was completely unprepared for the interview, so the first five minutes of our discussion is basically me laughing at him struggling with his iPhone and laptop! Skip to 7:45 if you want to avoid that nonsense and get to the start of our chat. This could be the most fun episode I have done yet, hence why it ended up being unintentionally the longest. Karsten is a really good laugh and doesn't take himself too seriously, so there are many points where we're just poking fun at each other. He talks about latest video Cuadro, the highs and lows of making The Cayenne Project series, the expenses involved in each project, what the money made from each video is spent on, people ripping off their work, interesting and random stories from the various trips and more. If you want to know what it's really like to make travel videos with some of the best skaters in the world, find out here.” - David McNamara
